rgsIn Oslo you’ll find everything! Clothes and designer goods have become more and more of a trade mark for Oslo. There is a great selection of interesting shops which can compete with trends in cities like London, Milan or Copenhagen. Many young designers have their base in Oslo and their work is getting a lot of attention both in Norway and internationally. In addition to designer shops, there is, of course, a wide variety of big department stores, small boutiques, shopping areas with individual shops, flea markets, exclusive international brands and local handicraft.

Luxury Shopping in Milan

The beauty of Milan is a mere bonus to the luxury shopping that takes place in this lavish city.  Jump right into the Fashion Quadrilatero, a collaboration of the most expensive streets and showrooms in Milan, Italy.  Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo and any other famously expensive name you can think of grace these streets.  It's a museum to those whose pockets cringe at the sight of the prices yet to the glam goddess who can afford the $300 key chains, it's a fashion oasis.

However, if you are looking for a less expensive shopping trip, there are streets in Milan dedicated to inexpensive yet popular brand names.  Find affordable brands like Timberland, H & M, Foot Locker and Diesel among others.  You can also find unpopular yet chic brands that are sure to turn heads back in your home country.

I really, really can't express how amazing this city's shopping is, I've never seen all of these names in one place.  Trust and believe I am a glam goddess but I need to save for a couple of years before returning to Milan to get everything I want!

Visit this link to enjoy more of the fabulously exotic sites and culture of Milan.

Oh how I wish I could shop like a London fashionista!  London is HOT and so are the city's fashion spots.  This is so exciting; London, England is home to over 40,000 shopping boutiques and stores.  These shops carry everything from designer pumps to cabbages.

London has over 80 outdoor markets and shops so forget a day of shopping, try a week or two!  Yet, rather than talking about chains or stores that you can find in any country, let's talk about Spitalfield's.  Unique, one of a kind and truly exclusive describes any item that you'll come across here.  Spitalfield's is a market full of distinctive stores specializing in rare clothes, accessories, jewelry, food, linens--just about anything you can name.  So if you're looking for that little something to bring your outfit together for the evening, roll through Spitalfield's market for a day of unmatched shopping.

Speaking of evenings, visit London in late July or early August to experience SCP Live.  A music festival which takes place during lunchtime and evenings on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the SCP Summer of Live Music is one of London's favorite tourist attractions.  Enjoy the festival while shopping through St. Christopher's Place which is filled with stores, bars, restaurants and cafes.

Shopping in London is simply too large of an adventure to downplay with words.  You simply have to visit and make it worth your while.  So dust off those old walking shoes and be prepared to wear holes in them shopping the streets of London!

Home to fashion icons, models and famous clothiers, it’s no wonder New York City is at the top of my list for best shopping destinations in the world.  Deemed as the fashion capital of the world, let New York City’s streets become your runway.  The roads are paved with vendors selling everything from handbags to brooms!

Start your visit on the ever so popular Canal Street.  Forget the cab, put your feet to the pavement and explore the crazily busy sidewalks of this goods filled street.  Crawling with anything you can find in a store, Canal Street is one of the largest outdoor malls you will ever visit.  From outdoor fruit and vegetable markets to CDs to even knock off handbags, Canal Street is a major shopping attraction in New York City.

Tired of the dizzy outdoor scene?  Take a trip down Fifth Avenue to one of New York City’s finest urban outfitting clothiers, Sean John!  Speaking of Fifth Avenue, what would a trip to New York City be without taking a stroll through the real Saks Fifth Avenue?  Name brand fashions engulf spots like Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blanik, Anthropologie and Barney’s NY to create a well rounded apparel shopping experience.

Looking for something more specific?  New York City is an oasis for hundreds of specialty stores providing the best in linens, toys, jewelry, house ware and even books!  By all means, don't forget to stop by New York 911 for your NYPD and New York Fire Department memorabilia!

Need something cheap, don’t fret!  The city boasts great quality items for all shoppers in every price range.

So get in your car or hop on a plane and take a trip to this North American shopper’s haven, New York City!
